Pathfinders of Hope exists to help the homeless in our communities find their path back to stability, dignity, and success. Guided by biblical values, we are committed to helping the less fortunate with love, compassion, and courage, standing boldly for what is right and sharing the light and comfort of God’s love. We seek to embody the call to “Love thy neighbor” by offering hope, support, and opportunities for renewal. Every decision we make is rooted in God’s Word, ensuring that our efforts not only serve those in need but also bring glory to God. With faith as our foundation, we believe that we cannot fail in our mission to restore lives and spread God’s love.
“If God is on our side, who can be against us?” - Romans 8:31
"I grew up volunteering for various organizations through out my early teen years. Once I graduated high school I felt the need to serve for a higher purpose so I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Following many trials and tribulations I realized that I needed to turn to God. While turning to Christ I learned that I needed to soften my heart and become more compassionate for the ones around me. I decided to take Love thy Neighbor to heart and really start showing everyone I come into contact with how much I love them and in turn how much Christ loves them."
-David Mercado, Founder of Pathfinders of Hope

All decisions and actions we take are rooted in the word of God.
"With God on our side, who can be against us?"
-Romans 8:31

Helping others with genuine care. We want everyone we come across to feel the whole love of Christ.
"Know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure of all the Fullness of God."
-Ephesians 3:19

We stand boldly for what is right no matter the outcome. We are here to stand for the people that feel lost. In order to do that we need to have the courage to stand for them and the integrity to do so with a good and clean heart.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go"
-Joshua 1:9

We strive to treat everyone that we encounter as a child of God. Everyone last one of us is here for a purpose and to bring glory to God. We want everyone who works or volunteers with us to understand this and use it as a basis for interacting with the community.
"Honor one another above yourselves"
-Romans 12:10

We strive to create lasting solutions that will restore hope and independence in the hearts and minds of the people we interact with.
"And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching"
Hebrews 10:24-25
